Join Our Client as an Electrical Test Planning Engineer. Adecco, working in partnership with Bentley Motors, is searching for an Electrical Test Planning Engineer to join their team. This is an opportunity for someone enthusiastic about connected car technology and shaping the future of vehicle features and customer experiences.
Pay Rate: PAYE £33.15ph
End date: 01/09/2026
Location: Crewe Pyms Lane, CW1 3PL
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 Days a week on site – flexible on day, 35 hours per week, between 8am – 5pm Friday until 2.30
Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities
* Create & Lead Integration Test Plans: Develop and oversee integration test plans for Simulator, Prototype, and Pre-Series vehicles, ensuring compliance with business security practices.
* Problem Solving: Manage and process problem-solving tickets through KPM, IVA, or iCAPTURE.
* KPI Management: Establish and manage integration testing KPIs and planning workbooks, serving as the central point of contact.
* Planning Meetings: Lead integration testing planning meetings and escalate issues as needed.
* Technical Support: Provide responsive and professional technical support across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other business functions, including diagnosis, analysis, and updates of Electrical and Electronic systems.
* Knowledge Sharing: Act as a resource for problem solving, supporting business objectives while maintaining a safe and conscientious work environment.
* Team Collaboration: Support various areas of the team and participate in workshops and lab builds as required.
About the Team
The Test & Build Support function is crucial in ensuring the integrity and performance of Bentley Integration Levels (BIL) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) during product development. This role may involve international travel when necessary.
What We're Looking For
* Exceptional Planning & Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, along with excellent prioritization abilities.
* Problem Solving Experience: Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques and testing methods.
* Technical Proficiency: Background in Automotive Electrical systems, diagnostic programmes, and reporting tools.
* Adaptability: Quick learner of specialist engineering facilities and equipment, on-site and off-site.
* Educational Background: Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
