Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting (learners home or local library).
* Create engaging and interactive learning materials to support individual learning goals.
* Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet their evolving needs.
* Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
* Maintain accurate records of student achievements and progress.
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience working with students with SEN, particularly in English and Maths.
* Understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 3.
Education:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Training in specific interventions for supporting students with SEN in English and Maths.
Working Conditions:
* Part-time role, expected to work flexible hours.
* Work primarily in an outreach capacity, travelling to student's homes or educational settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
