Overview
Mobile Facilities Site Officer role at Equans UK & Ireland – Ken Stimpson Academy, Staniland Way, Werrington, Peterborough, PE4 6JT. This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. Salary: £28,010 per annum. Benefits package included.
Shift pattern: 2 weekly rotation of the hours below:
* Mon–Fri 06:00–15:00
* Mon–Fri 10:30–19:30
(1 hour unpaid lunch each day)
Adhoc weekend working for contractor works/events available. On-call rota: 7 days on-call once every 3 weeks.
What will you deliver?
You will provide essential support to three Peterborough schools by ensuring the efficient resolution of facilities requests, completing maintenance tasks, and conducting general premises checks. Your role will include planned and reactive maintenance, security responsibilities, site safety monitoring, and effective communication with staff and contractors. You will also play a key part in maintaining a safe and functional environment for students and staff while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Note: For this role you must undergo DBS clearance; ability to pass is essential.

Who are we looking for?
* Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field
* Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair tasks
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* A proactive and adaptable approach to work
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills to interact with staff, contractors, and management
* A commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining a safe working environment
