Job Overview
Hours: Full time 37.5 Hours per week, Salary: £25,000, Closing date: 17th June 2026, Contract: Fixed Term, 10th August 2026 - 26th June 2027.
We are seeking a Graduate Assistant who will support marketing and administrative functions in a college environment, working closely with school and boarding staff to create a secure and engaging setting for students aged 13–21.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide an environment in which students flourish, feel secure, and fully engage with the school ethos.
* Assist the Principal with marketing initiatives and administrative tasks.
* Assist the Head of Boarding with the organisation and resources of Boarding Houses.
* Work closely with other boarding staff to maintain direct accountability for students in their houses, ensuring their safety, good discipline, and pastoral wellbeing.
* Support the Administrative functions within the school, including providing reception cover.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold A Levels or equivalent qualifications.
* Compliant with child protection policies and able to report concerns.
* Competent in the use of a PC, Microsoft Word and Outlook, with knowledge of record keeping and data protection.
* Excellent verbal and written English, good communication and organisational skills.
* Experience working with children or in a care setting is desirable.
* Calm under pressure, flexible, and supportive in approach to duties.
