We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and collaborating with others. Whether you’re just starting your accounting career or have some experience, we’d love to hear from you. We’re committed to supporting your growth and can offer financial assistance for an accountancy qualification like AAT, with the potential for further training. How you'll make an impact In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our financial processes running smoothly. You’ll manage daily cashbook postings, ensuring everything is accurate and up to date. You’ll create sales invoices for clients and send out monthly statements to help them stay on track. You’ll also monitor outstanding payments, follow up on overdue accounts, and work with the team to resolve any issues. You’ll handle purchase ledger invoices, process weekly payments, and manage CIS returns. Your work will help us maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure our financial operations are efficient and effective. About You A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Clear communication skills to explain financial information to people with different levels of understanding. Strong organisational skills to manage your workload and meet deadlines. Confidence in using MS Excel, MS Outlook, and learning new systems. Attention to detail and a knack for working with numbers. A willingness to learn and grow in your accounting career.
