About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Home Manager to lead a well-established care home in the charming village of Crostwick. The home provides high-quality residential, dementia, and respite care in a warm, supportive environment and is currently rated Good by the CQC. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership to the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
* Oversee the full operational performance of the home.
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain excellent care standards.
* Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a skilled and committed care team.
* Manage the homes budget and ensure financial targets are met.
* Develop and implement marketing strategies to maintain full occupancy.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
* Ensure all records and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
* Monitor and evaluate the homes performance, implementing improvements where required.
* Manage risks effectively to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
Skills & Attributes:
* Minimum 3 years experience as a Registered Manager of a 30+ bed care home with a Good rating.
* Strong ability to engage with residents and deliver person-centred care.
* Experience involving residents and families in care planning and evaluation.
* Excellent knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
* Proven ability to maintain positive relationships with regulators, social services, and families.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Commercial awareness with the ability to maintain high occupancy levels.
