We're working with a busy and long-established main contractor to source an experienced Project Manager; initially to lead a conversion project in West Lothian. Longer-term, you will get the opportunity to work on a range of build and refurbishment projects across varying sectors including education, leisure, commercial, heritage, and more. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering construction projects to a high standard; on time, within budget, and with a sharp focus on health & safety and quality. As Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the project team, ensuring clear communication, consistent progress, and effective resolution of challenges on site. You will be responsible for (but not limited to): - Leading the site team. - Managing and coordinating subcontractors and supply chains. - Developing and managing construction programmes and project schedules. - Driving standards in quality, time management, budget and health & safety. - Ensuring compliance with all regulations and company procedures. - Managing budgets, reporting on progress, and mitigating potential risks. - Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with clients. To be considered for this role, you will: - Be degree qualified in a construction-related field or come from a trade background. - Have demonstratable management experience within a main contracting environment on projects £4m-£6m in value. - Have experience leading projects from inception to completion.
