Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team at our Scunthorpe headquarters. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for financial accuracy. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance department by handling day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the business. Key Responsibilities
* Perform reconciliation of transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Manage wage runs, including processing payroll and related calculations.
* Handle invoicing and billing processes, preparing and issuing invoices to clients.
* Conduct credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding payments, chasing overdue accounts, and maintaining positive client relationships.
* Various administrative duties relating to Purchase Order and Customer/Supplier application forms.
Requirements
* A positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
* High level of reliability and commitment to meeting deadlines.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Basic knowledge of finance principles or relevant experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) essential and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
* GCSE Maths/English 6-9
