Job Description
What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Business Outsourcing Services team in Southampton. The primary responsibility of the Technology Assistant Manager is to assist senior members of the team in our newly formed BOS technology team, including our client-facing proposition.
The technology team focuses on delivering internal projects to maximize team efficiency and equip staff with tools to deliver excellent client outcomes. This includes projects such as migrating to new accounts production software.
Your role will involve helping to deliver these digital transformation projects, including client propositions centered on cloud advisory, app stacks, and migrating clients to optimal platforms. You will also assist in managing a diverse client portfolio.
As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the scoping, procurement, and deployment of technologies for internal use, ensuring successful project delivery across national teams, liaising with the technology group and wider BOS team.
* Managing a client portfolio.
* Providing proactive, efficient service to clients, exceeding expectations throughout the year.
* Communicating with client Partners and other staff to keep all parties informed.
* Organizing project timelines, staff bookings, reviews, and related tasks.
* Coordinating staff on projects, clarifying expectations, training, and providing feedback.
* Ensuring personal training and development.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA) or international equivalent
* Experience with cloud technology or business change projects within a professional services environment
* Knowledge of various cloud accounting applications and their appropriate client use cases
* Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, Partners, and colleagues
* Excellent organizational skills to meet diverse needs
* Experience working with entrepreneurial, SME, and high-growth clients
