Finance Assistant (Salvage)
Location: Egham, Surrey
Salary: £28,000 to £31,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday | Full-time
Hybrid working: 2 days from home, 3 days onsite (after 2‑month training)
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting the Salvage finance function
* Processing incoming and outgoing payments
* Managing purchase ledger and sales ledger invoices
* Recording receipts from third‑party platforms
* Processing financial information across multiple systems
* Completing weekly and monthly reconciliations
* Communicating with internal teams and external customers
* Handling office phone calls, daily post, and general finance duties
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 3 years experience in a finance department
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Well‑organised with the ability to manage your own workload
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office packages
* A proactive and flexible team player
* Reliable, conscientious, and solutions‑focused
