Are you passionate about helping children achieve their very best? Featherby Partnerships School (part of the Maritime Academy Trust) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside teachers and staff to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a welcoming, community-focused school.
About The Role
As a Teaching Assistant at Featherby, you’ll play an important role in the classroom—helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment where every child can thrive. From supporting literacy and numeracy, to building pupils’ confidence and resilience, you’ll make a meaningful difference in their learning journey every single day.
Who You Are
We are looking to appoint someone who is:
1. Passionate about supporting children to succeed.
2. Confident in literacy and numeracy, able to support learning effectively.
3. Experienced in working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential).
4. A strong communicator who thrives in a team environment.
5. Reflective, professional, and keen to develop their own practice.
