Your responsibilities as Hygiene Operative
* Clean production areas, machinery, and equipment to strict hygiene standards
* Follow Cleaning Instruction Cards (CIC) using correct chemicals and equipment
* Maintain hygiene across floors, walls, drains, machinery, and communal areas
* Ensure full compliance with COSHH and chemical handling procedures
* Complete and sign off daily, weekly, and scheduled cleaning records
* Support hygiene verification processes including swabbing and validation checks
What were looking for in a Hygiene Operative
* Previous experience in hygiene, cleaning, or food production environments
* A full, UK driving licence (essential)
* Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling
* Experience following structured cleaning schedules and compliance processes
* Ability to work with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
* Understanding of hygiene standards within a manufacturing setting
Working hours both day & night shifts are available and can be discussed upon application.
