This UK-based manufacturer specialises in producing precision-engineered products made from stainless steel and high-value alloys used in demanding applications across the aerospace, medical, oil and gas, and nuclear energy industries.
Role
The Quality Director will be responsible for developing and implementing quality strategies, overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance, applying continuous improvement and LEAN methodologies, maintaining a trajectory of zero external defects and on-time delivery, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. The role involves leading a talented team of quality and technical professionals.
Person
We seek a strong Quality professional with a proven track record managing a Quality function within a manufacturing or engineering business. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in engineering, extensive experience in driving process improvements, and fostering a robust quality culture supported by KPIs. This role is customer-centric, supporting the Global Commercial Director in NPI and customer relations. The candidate should be a driven, energetic leader capable of effective communication across all levels and integrating quality into all business facets. As part of the talent pipeline and succession planning, the candidate should understand how the quality function contributes to overall business growth and be proactive in driving this growth.
