Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic but small team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and welding, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to interpret technical drawings, ensuring that all products are fabricated to the highest standards. Main area of work is fabrication and site install of staircases with a 50/50 split in workshop and site work. Site work based in UK and Ireland. Good variety of work with not all in the workshop would suit local candidate to ballygawley. Immediate start.
Responsibilities
* Fabricate components and assemblies according to specifications and technical drawings.
* Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
* Utilise basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fabrication and welding.
* Driving Licence required.
* Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
