As our ideal Chef you will :- Have excellent craft skills and some bakery skills/experience Have experience of and be competent in managing allergens Some experience of working in independent boarding schools preferred Have a proven track record of continually improving standards Have good communication skills at all levels Be passionate about food with a great eye for detail Have comprehensive understanding of managing allergens Have the ability to manage the kitchen and train the team to standards required Have financial and budget awareness Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
