Sales Development Representative
TCM Capital is looking for ambitious and driven graduates to join our dynamic on-site sales team in Perth and play a key role in expanding our presence across the Irish and Scottish market.
As a fast-growing funding partner for innovative businesses, we help companies access government grants and tax reliefs that support growth and innovation.
This role combines business development and partnership outreach. You will engage directly with innovative companies across Ireland and Scotland, while also building relationships with accountants, tax advisers, and professional firms who introduce clients to us.
You will speak with senior decision-makers, learn about innovative projects, introduce our services, and set up meetings with our consulting team.
This is an entry-level 12 to 18 month graduate role designed to develop you into a fully fledged Business Development Manager, capable of managing the full sales process from prospecting through to closing deals.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Identifying and reaching out to businesses across Ireland and Scotland that could benefit from TCM Capital’s services
• Building relationships with accountants, tax advisers, and professional firms who may introduce clients to us
• Engaging with business leaders via cold calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn
• Building relationships with innovative companies in sectors such as technology, engineering, manufacturing, and life sciences
• Attending networking events, expos, and other in-person opportunities to grow your connections
• Collaborating with the wider team to identify new business opportunities and shape targeted campaigns
• Qualifying leads and proactively following up with potential clients
• Supporting the onboarding of new clients and contributing to closing deals
What We’re Looking For
• Some experience in sales (ideally B2B) or another client-facing role
• A 2:1 or higher in a BA or BSc degree
• A proactive, results-driven attitude with a strong drive to succeed
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior decision-makers
• Comfortable building relationships with professional advisers such as accountants and consultants
• Resilience, adaptability, and a positive mindset
• Experience working towards targets
• Bonus: background in competitive team sports
What You Can Expect at TCM Capital
• Starting salary of £22,000, rising to £35,000 within 18 months based on performance
• Lucrative commission structure. OTE of £35,000 to £50,000 in your first year, and £100,000 plus as a Business Development Manager from year two
