Overview
Role type: Full-time, permanent. Location: Global Headquarters in Cambridge, and London, Manchester and Bristol offices. Start date: ideally April, May or June 2026; you will indicate availability on your application. Application deadline: there is no fixed deadline, but applications are encouraged early as the role will close when suitable candidates are found. Salary: £35,000 per annum. Responsibilities
* Oversee a range of administrative, coordination and scientific tasks related to client projects, and contribute to company and team initiatives.
* Format, ensure consistency and perform general quality control review of scientific documents.
* Assist Project Managers with client and healthcare professional communication on multi-component projects, and produce progress reports and summaries to enhance customer service.
* Coordinate day-to-day project team activities and monitor timelines in collaboration with the project manager.
* Schedule meetings, record minutes and coordinate distribution of outputs.
* Develop planning tools to optimise productivity and cross-collaboration with other teams.
* Support accurate referencing of scientific materials and prepare reference packs.
* Screen records for relevance to research questions and extract data from relevant publications.
* Support development of client proposals and track those sent and responses received.
* Liaise with external suppliers, translation agencies, digital and marketing agencies and other consultancies to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
* Take ownership of tasks in the project management system to support budgeting and invoicing.
* Assist analysts in translating project methods and results into engaging reports and slide sets.
* Reformat scientific documents to meet client requirements and submission guidelines.
* Keep project teams informed of latest sources of information and industry guidelines; maintain internal resources.
* Organise monthly team meetings and other internal activities.
What you will work on
In this role, you will support scientific project teams with administrative, coordination and scientific tasks. You will primarily work on Literature Reviews projects, with opportunities to contribute to other Evidence Development project types, including Statistics.
Hybrid Working Policy
We offer flexible working arrangements that allow colleagues who have passed probation to work from home for up to half of the time, measured across a 2-week rolling period. During probation (normally the first 6 months) you may work from home for 1 day per week. Face-to-face time in the office is valued for community and collaboration.
Qualifications
Essential requirements for the role include:
* A degree level or equivalent qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent). Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage but not essential. We welcome applicants from diverse specialisms (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Global Health, Epidemiology, Biochemistry, Medicine).
* Strong attention to detail and a flair for accuracy.
* Exceptional written English for client work, emails and internal messaging.
* Effective verbal communication skills for working with colleagues and clients.
* Ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences (healthcare professionals, patient groups, suppliers, clients, non-scientific colleagues, governmental bodies).
* Self-motivation and enthusiasm with genuine interest in healthcare and willingness to learn about new areas of science.
* Excellent organisational skills and a passion for maintaining high levels of organisation across tasks and processes.
* Ability to manage conflicting deadlines, work independently and self-manage your time.
