Overview

Our Telford site has an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support and create accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines and contribute to the overall success of the site.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-16:30pm.

Salary: £24,444 per annum, plus £1,000 attendance bonus.


Key Duties

* Administration and data entry to maintain the Company systems for WTD and tachograph rules and regulations.
* Monitoring and maintaining records for agency drivers, processing invoices using SAP and keeping accurate records of agency terms and conditions.
* Inputting and monitoring drivers holidays and sickness absence, maintaining the time-keeping and attendance system and processing sick notes.
* Regularly updating the WTD system, ensuring the data is up to date and accurate.
* Creating and providing daily reports to the Transport department regarding tachograph information.
* Receiving and monitoring fuel deliveries, maintaining the fuel monitoring system.
* Support investigation of any driver wage queries.
* Providing various reports / spreadsheets for internal departments in a timely manner.
* Carrying out any other formal and legal duties.
* Record keeping.


Qualifications

* Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment.
* Able to work using own initiative and with little supervision.
* Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook (or equivalent).
* Previous experience gained in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
* Experience in an FMCG environment is desirable.
