About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of major construction and property projects. This role involves managing a varied portfolio including private and social housing, public buildings, and commercial developments.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget, while aligning with strategic asset management objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the full lifecycle of major construction and property projects.
* Coordinate internal teams and external consultants for efficient project delivery.
* Oversee procurement, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
* Develop and maintain project documentation, risk registers, and financial appraisals.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations.
* Mentor and support Project Managers and Project Officers.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in delivering large-scale construction or property projects.
* A background in working with local authorities and/or housing associations.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of asset management.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Up-to-date knowledge of project management methodologies and construction legislation.
