Quality Engineer
LOCATION – Near Manchester Airport
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £42-45,000
The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject
* Have industry experience working within a similar quality engineer role within another manufacturing engineering environment
* Experience of working in an ISO9001 environments ideally
* Good knowledge of quality assurance methods and tools such as 8D, Six Sigma etc.
* Experience working with customers & suppliers
The Quality Engineer role will involve:
* Working full time onsite as part of the engineering team
* Ensuring all products and services meet ISO90001 standards
* Conducting quality audits
* Implementing any process improvements that are identified
* Working as part of a cross-functional team
* Supporting overall continuous improvement activities
