Smiths Equipment Hire Ltd are the Northwest's Largest Independent Equipment Hire Company. Currently in a period of expansion across the business, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Equipment Delivery Driver based at our Trafford Park Depot and will be needed to be covering and delivering equipment for all our other depots.
To be successful in this position we seek experienced drivers who have the ability to carry out the following key responsibilities;
* Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks ensuring any defects found are reported to the Fleet Manager
* Keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using delivery documentation
* Ensure that any equipment on the vehicle is secured and protected where necessary
* Collect any money due on the delivery / collection as instructed
* Maintain product knowledge in order to demonstrate to customers where necessary
* Demonstrate a high level of customer services and the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
* Covering other HGV driver at other depots at times in absence or holidays.
