Salary: £66,000 - 72,000 per year Requirements: Extensive experience in network architecture in an enterprise environment, preferably within a Government body Proficient in networking architecture technologies including: - Network topology and configuration - Wireless network architecture - Firewalls - Network load balancing - Inter/intra site connectivity - Virtual private network configuration - Public cloud connectivity Experience in creating technical and architectural documents including options assessments and both low and high-level technical designs Experience in requirements management and ownership of deliverables Working knowledge of auditing and security products configuration Comprehensive understanding of NCSC, GDS, CIS, Cyber Essentials, and NIST IT security principles Familiarity with UK government technology strategies and policies (Desirable) Experience in a matrix organisation structure (Desirable) IT technical qualifications or equivalent experience (Desirable) TOGAF or equivalent experience (Desirable) Knowledge of public cloud offerings Responsibilities: Liaise with stakeholders and customers to interpret business requirements into technical specifications Provide support to technical teams in the delivery of capabilities Offer 4th level technical oversight for customer issues Contribute to the management and delivery of key national security capabilities Technologies: Architect Cloud Support Load Balancing Matrix Network Security TOGAF More: We are a prominent central Government client located in Milton Keynes, offering a hybrid work model (3 days in the office per week).
