Qualifications
To become a Construction Manager, you generally need at least 4 GCSEs grades A-C (9-4) and 2 A Levels or BTEC equivalent.
Level 3
Study a BTEC Subsidiary or Extended Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment or an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Construction Contracting Operations.
Levels 4, 5 & 6
Study a HNC, HND, Higher Apprenticeship, or Degree in Construction and the Built Environment or related fields.
Salary Expectations
* Newly trained construction managers: £25,000 - £35,000
* Experienced construction managers: £35,000 - £48,000
* Senior, chartered, or master construction managers: £48,000 - £60,000
* Self-employed managers set their own rates
