Ability to read and understand CNC code (Fanuc) to the level required for machine set up and operation. Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets. Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures. Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
