Reporting directly into the firms CFO and Managing Partner, the Financial Controller's duties and responsibilities include the following:
1. Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
2. Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Develop and implement effective financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets.
4. Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership to support decision-making and business growth.
5. Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals to achieve departmental goals.
6. Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process efficiently.
7. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
8. Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
