We are excited to announce that due to our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Shift Manager to join our dynamic multiuser site in Thatcham. In this role, you will oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse, prioritizing colleague wellbeing, health, and safety while ensuring operational KPIs are met.
Working Hours
This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern of Monday - Friday, including weekend shifts on a rota basis. Your working hours will be from 6am to 2:30pm.

Your Daily Responsibilities
As a Shift Manager, you will:
* Foster positive employee relations through effective leadership, motivation, and communication
* Manage agency staff requirements, ensuring resources align with volume forecasts and KPIs
* Own the headcount tracker for relevant clients, providing daily updates to stakeholders
* Compile and submit operational data to internal stakeholders on schedule
What You Need to Succeed at GXO
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Experience leading a team in a warehouse environment, ideally within an E-commerce operation
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Problem-solving abilities, with a knack for responding quickly and effectively to issues
