Job Opportunity: Lead Trainer in Hospitality & Catering
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
We offer a unique opportunity to lead our training kitchen and mentor learners aged 16–25 with special educational needs in hospitality and catering. Your responsibilities will include managing the kitchen, delivering food safety training, and supporting learners in real-world cooking experiences.
Job Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a chef or cook, preferably in an educational or SEN setting
2. Level 2 or 3 Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
3. A passion for mentoring and empowering young people through food
4. Strong understanding of dietary needs, allergens, and food hygiene
5. Organised, creative, and confident in managing a professional kitchen
6. A team player with a positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to inclusion
