Job Description
3. Process and verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner
4. Ensure proper coding of expenses to the correct accounts
5. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
6. Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring all approvals are obtained
7. Maintain and update accounts payable records and files
8. Handle supplier queries and provide prompt resolutions
9. Support month-end closing processes as required
10. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
11. Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance-focused role
12. A strong understanding of basic accounting principles
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
15. The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
16. Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues
