Senior Project Engineer

£50k-£55k (dep on exp) + bonus and benefits
We are currently looking for a technically minded Senior Project Engineer to join a well-established and successful market leading company based in Bedfordshire that is working on the development of innovative special purpose equipment within a low volume manufacturing environment.
The business is expanding so the Senior Project Engineer will join the Projects Team reporting to the Senior Project Manager on site. The Senior Project Engineer will take responsibility for contracts from the receipt of order and handover from the Sales team through to successful install and handover. Thus, you will get the opportunity to work closely with the clients and foster excellent relationships whilst ensuring all staff are aware of the project requirements and timescales.
This role would be suited to a and experienced Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer with a strong technical background but also the commercial awareness to be the go-to contact for the client throughout the entire project life-cycle. Having a background within food processes would be a distinct advantage, however someone with experience working within special purpose machinery systems would definitely be valuable!
