We are looking for an experienced manager to lead our delivery team, ensuring efficient, safe, and legal trading, while providing the highest customer service standards. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to customer satisfaction, prideful in their work, and capable of motivating and developing their team to improve delivery operations.
This role is based at one of our delivery locations, where experience, knowledge, and skills in warehouse and transport management are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead your team to ensure branch trading is efficient, safe, and within legal constraints, with top customer service standards.
2. Manage delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
3. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and set challenging payroll cost reduction targets.
4. Understand the local market to provide the best service and ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Manage your team effectively to meet customer service requirements, engaging with customers and using feedback for continuous improvement.
6. Collaborate with regional teams to identify opportunities and develop or improve working methods.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
* Management CPC
* Experience managing a warehouse operation
* Strong customer engagement skills and relationship building
* Ability to develop ideas and challenge the team to improve delivery services
* Talent identification and team development skills
* Motivational leadership to foster a customer-focused culture
* Effective communication and stakeholder influence skills
* Strong planning and organizational skills
* A hands-on approach is beneficial
