An award-winning, people-focused law firm is looking to recruit a Corporate Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) to join its well-regarded and expanding Corporate team based in Southampton. The Opportunity
You'll work within a collaborative, high-performing Corporate team that advises ambitious entrepreneurs, SMEs, and mid-market businesses. From mergers and acquisitions to corporate governance and restructuring, the work is broad, rewarding, and often high-profile. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of transactions and work closely with senior lawyers who offer strong mentorship and development opportunities.
The Role
As a key part of the team, you will:
* Manage your own caseload of corporate matters suited to your experience
* Assist partners on complex and high-value transactions
* Advise on M&A, restructuring, shareholder agreements, and corporate advisory work
* Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development
* Support junior team members where appropriate (e.g. trainees, paralegals)
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to develop deep technical expertise while contributing to a positive and ambitious team culture.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (0-3 years' PQE)
* Corporate law experience gained through training or post-qualification, or a desire to specialise in this area
* Proactive, client-focused and organised, with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Collaborative and people-first in your approach, aligned with the firm's values
* Calm under pressure and able to adapt to changing priorities
