Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic and evolving finance team. This is a key role within a newly established function, offering the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial analysis and strategic insights. Your work will directly support informed decision-making across the organisation, helping to drive financial sustainability, enhance transparency, and improve operational efficiency.
Your new role
This role is ideal for a traditional Assistant Management Accountant who is looking to take on a more data and improvement-focused role. Daily duties will include:
1. Assist in delivering a professional business development function within a secure financial system's environment.
2. Develop and analyse financial and non-financial data to support strategic planning.
3. Prepare statutory and non-statutory returns, grant claims, and performance indicators.
4. Provide financial insight and reporting to senior stakeholders.
5. Support continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation in financial systems.
6. Mentor and support Apprentice Accounting Technicians.
What you'll need to succeed
7. AAT level 4 qualifications or above
8. Experience of working within an accounting function
9. Strong technical accounting skills andmercial awareness
10. Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
11. Strong interpersonal andmunication skills
12. Ability to presentplex data in accessible formats
13. A collaborative and detail-oriented approach
14. Experience in budgetary control, forecasting, and financial planning (desirable)
