Some projects may be refurbishment and redesign, some will be new build.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll have experience of a mix of development andmunity or estate regeneration projects. You’ll have experience of working client-side as an intelligent client or project leader and will be confident in taking projects from brief topletion. You’ll have experience of assembling and managing project and consultant teams, be able to work with various internal teams and stakeholders. The Senior Project Manager will ideally have experience of working in a metropolitan setting managing projects in an urban setting such as London or, for instance, and have experience of working on major regeneration and redevelopment projects. You will ideally have had experience of working in the public sector for the likes of a local authority, housing or education setting, and will have strong budget management skills, ensuring that projects are kept on time and on budget. An ability to report on performance at a senior level, work across multidisciplined teams and with private sector partners will be essential.
What you'll get in return
As the Senior Project Manager, you'll be working flexibly, and we expect that you'll need to work from the office for 1–2 days per week. You'll receive a daily rate of up to £500 per day, and we expect that this post will be in-scope of IR35, though this has not been confirmed by the client as yet. The projects are long term and while we expect an initial term of 6 months, the programme of works will run for 2 years or more, so there is scope for this post to continue throughout the whole programme.
