Description Strait Link is looking for a reliable, safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our Devonport team. If you thrive in a fast-paced freight environment and take pride in doing the job properly, this role is for you. We play a critical role in keeping Tasmania connected — and that starts with safe, accurate freight handling on the ground. About the Role Based at our Devonport depot, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of freight across the site. Your day-to-day will include: Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently Scanning, sorting and re-palletising freight Palletising freight for linehaul and shipping movements Ensuring accurate movement and distribution of freight Working within operational timeframes and following site instructions Identifying and reporting damaged freight in line with process Safely restraining loads using correct equipment and strapping Maintaining strict compliance with safety and site procedures This is a hands-on role in a time-sensitive environment where teamwork and attention to detail matter.
