Creative Content Designer
The Creative Content Designer reports into the Senior Video Manager within the Creative team, which sets the direction for all creative outputs and owns the translation of the Selfridges brand.
The Creative Content Designer designs creative content for print, digital, CRM and social platforms, assists with creative research, and provides overall design support to the Creative team to deliver impactful design direction to a consistent standard of excellence. As Creative Content Designer, you will:
Ideate innovative design concepts for customer communications, drawing on insights to create industry-leading, customer-focussed content that sets Selfridges apart
Design creative content for use across various channels and formats, including store signage, CRM, selfridges.com features, social media and packaging, and be able to adapt design appropriately to application
Contribute ideas for campaigns and content
Operate as a guardian of the Selfridges Design Guidelines across customer-facing communications
Brief our in-house photographer to capture imagery for design concepts and projects youre working on
About you
BA graduate or relevant experience in a creative field, eg art, design, advertising or fashion
High level of competency on Mac in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint and Word
Film editing skills are an advantage, though not essential
Web and digital savvy
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all work is grammatically correct and spell-checked
Confident in presenting your work
Creatively driven, with a high taste level and a professional and confident manner
A team player who collaborates easily with others, is proactive and takes initiative
Flexible, highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines across various stakeholders
