Job Title: Worldwide Storage Sales Programme Intern
Start Date: 1st July 2026
Location: Winnersh, UK (possible travel to other HPE locations)
Overview
You will support the worldwide storage sales organisation by coordinating key programmes, managing operational activities, and contributing to strategic business initiatives in a global sales environment. This internship provides experience in programme management, business operations, and technology sales support.
Key Responsibilities
* Support hands‑on execution of priority worldwide storage sales initiatives across multiple geographies.
* Document progress, outcomes, and key follow‑ups for business‑critical initiatives.
* Provide operational and analytical support to key worldwide storage sales teams.
* Maintain and update key sales enablement materials and shared resources.
* Support HPE Storage Sales participation in strategic events (e.g., HPE Discover), focusing on planning, readiness and follow‑up.
* Assist leaders with execution‑focused tasks related to initiatives and events.
* Monitor and track key customer and partner engagement activity to identify follow‑ups and surface opportunities.
* Capture and organise business win stories, field insights, and programme updates to support visibility and best‑practice sharing.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders across teams and geographies to ensure strong communication, coordination and execution.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
* 2nd year of a four‑year degree with a 3rd year industrial placement option; expected to achieve a minimum 2:1 grade.
* Early professional experience and transferrable skills via part‑time roles or university projects.
* Eligible to work in the UK and able to commence the placement in July 2026 (13‑month duration).
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills; able to coordinate multiple activities and priorities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear updates.
* High attention to detail and structured approach to tracking actions.
* Clear interest in programme management, business operations, and the technology industry.
* Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
* Good analytical and reporting skills; confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Collaborative mindset; able to work effectively across teams, functions and geographies.
