We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team at New Barn School. As a crucial member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the functionality, cleanliness, and safety of our school campus. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the educational experience of our students and support the overall mission of our school.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
* Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address issues promptly.
* Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the school.
* Assist with groundskeeping.
* Maintain outdoor recreational areas and equipment.
* Support safety protocols and procedures.
* Conduct safety inspections and report hazards or concerns.
* Assist with emergency preparedness drills and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with staff to facilitate smooth school operations.
* Hold a full UK driver’s license.
* Possess good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Any additional relevant qualifications.
