Teacher of Science
* M1–UPS3, £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (pending pay award)
* Full Time Contract, 6-months Fixed Term

Due to our increasing PAN and student numbers, we are excited to offer the opportunity to join our academy as our staff body grows to support larger year groups. This is an exciting time to join our academy as we celebrate our Outstanding Academy Inspection in November 2023. Inspectors described Bristnall Hall Academy as a “truly inclusive and harmonious school” where everyone is proud to be part of a close-knit school community working together with a common purpose.
Responsibilities
* Teach science across the key stages and contribute to delivering a knowledge-rich curriculum.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, improve teaching practices, and support department objectives.
* Play a lead role in curriculum development and help progress teaching practice within the academy and beyond.
* Support and work with Lead Practitioners and a strong senior leadership team (SLT) as part of a mutually supportive Science department.
Qualifications and Experience
* Dynamic, forward-thinking individual with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of science in the classroom.
* Able to teach across the key stages; ambitious professional with a commitment to high standards.
* Applications welcomed from early career teachers (ECTs).
