Role: Procurement Operations Manager
Location: Leeds - 3 x days per week
Rate: £500 - £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Up until 19/12/2025
We have an excellent opportunity to join a high end fashion retailer on an interim basis. In this role you'll lead and coordinate the end-to-end governance and operational processes of the Cost Control Centre, ensuring effective review, assessment, and approval of procurement requests. This role consolidates recommendations, manages meeting preparation and follow-up, facilitates decision-making, and maintains robust tracking and reporting to support compliance, transparency, and continuous improvement in procurement governance.
Essential skills and experience:
* Strong background in procurement operations or governance within a complex organisation
* Analytical skills to review, assess, and consolidate information into clear recommendations
* Proven stakeholder management, including senior leadership engagement
* Process management experience (meeting coordination, tracking, reporting)
* High attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and IT proficiency (Ariba or similar, MS Office)
* Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
* CIPS or relevant governance/procurement certification
* Change management and process improvement experience
* Strong reporting and analytics background
* Familiarity with audit and compliance requirements
