Responsibilities
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience of:
o Consenting and environmental management processes during construction of an offshore wind farm
o Working in a widely recognised large organization
o Industry events and stakeholder engagement
o Environmental Impact Assessments, marine licensing, Development Consent Order and NSIP planning
* Assist the team e.g. with:
o Consent or licence applications
o Writing and reviewing key documents, minutes, presentations, and trackers
o Assistant project management tasks
o Engagement with regulators/statutory stakeholders (e.g. Marine Management Organisation, The Crown Estate, Natural England, Local Planning Authorities etc.)
Job requirements and experience
* You’re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Environmental science, Environmental management, Environmental biology, Renewable energy, Geography, Marine biology, Oceanography, Marine sciences or similar
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
* You have very good verbal and written communication skills
* You’re able to coordinate your own workload and to meet tight deadlines
* Working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders every day is something you feel comfortable with
* You’re open to travel to other sites if needed. Travel expenses will be covered by us

Advantageous, but not essential
* Work experience within the renewables sector or transferable industries
* Experiences with Excel, Power Point and other similar software
