About the Role:
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of young children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver activities that support children's learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Provide a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
* Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
* Work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure consistent care and communication.
* Promote positive behaviour and support children in developing social skills.
* Attend team meetings, training, and contribute to continuous professional development.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and health & safety standards.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications in early years education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner, e.g CACHE, NVQ).
* Experience working with children in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting is desirable.
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
