The Account Manager – IT Opportunity
As an Account Manager, you will act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor to a portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery while driving account growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as the primary technical point of contact for assigned client accounts
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers
* Leading service reviews, quarterly business reviews, and technology roadmap discussions
* Providing strategic IT guidance across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and modern workplace technologies
* Overseeing service performance and collaborating with internal teams to deliver successful IT projects
* Identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and supporting renewals and pipeline forecasting
Your Key Skills
* Proven experience in an IT Account Manager, Technical Account Manager (TAM), Solutions Consultant, or similar role
* Strong background in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, GCP), and cybersecurity
* Experience working within an MSP or IT services environment
* Commercially astute with a strong understanding of value‑based selling
* Confident communicator, able to translate technical concepts into business‑aligned language
* Experience engaging senior stakeholders and influencing decision‑makers
* Proficient with CRM systems for account management, reporting, and pipeline forecasting
* Understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL) and information security standards (ISMS)
* Degree or equivalent professional experience highly desirable
