CO-ACTION (Intervention Facilitator Research Fellow)
Exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow to work on a NIHR ARC Wessex adopted and NIHR PGfAR funded programme grant: Personalised social and self‑management support for better living with multiple long‑term conditions in the community, within our Long‑Term Conditions theme.
In this programme you will design, evaluate and implement a personalised multisectoral intervention called CO‑ACTION employing diverse research methods and approaches. The work will focus on commonly experienced problems associated with MLTC, moving away from a narrow condition‑specific focus.
Responsibilities
* Design, evaluate and implement the CO‑ACTION intervention.
* Plan and conduct applied health research activities to a high standard and to deadlines.
* Organise your own workload and collaborate with other research fellows in the programme.
* Support the delivery of personalised assessment and support services in clinical practice.
Qualifications
* Professional clinical experience in a Social or Health Science discipline.
* Interest or demonstrated experience in applied health research projects.
* Successful completion of research activities or projects.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Knowledge of personalised assessment and implementation in clinical practice is an advantage.
* Working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification.
The post is part‑time and will be based at the School of Health Sciences, Highfield Campus. The successful candidate may join the NIHR Academy and access further training and networking opportunities.
