About Our Client

Job Description
You'll be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll across the business, including:
3. Processing multiple monthly payroll runs using Sage Payroll
4. Maintaining payroll data and handling day‑to‑day payroll administration
5. Administering workplace pension schemes, including auto‑enrolment
6. Calculating holiday pay in line with company policy and regulations
7. Supporting rota management with Rotamaster
8. Ensuring compliance with PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, SPP and pension regulations
9. Investigating and resolving payroll queries and discrepancies
10. Providing administrative support across the wider finance team
11. Covering team duties during absence/holidays
12. Protecting accuracy, confidentiality and integrity of payroll data
13. Suggesting and supporting improvements to payroll processes
The Successful Applicant
14. Strong end‑to‑end payroll experience
15. Knowledge of statutory calculations (SSP, SMP, SPP etc.) - Sage calculates these, but you must understand the rules
16. Sage Payroll experience preferred (training can be provided for experienced payroll professionals)
17. Confident working with multiple payrolls and large headcounts
18. Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
