We are seeking a Retention & Engagement Optimisation Analyst to join our Retention & Engagement team within Marketing. In this role, you will drive insights and processes that shape how we understand and influence subscriber behavior and CRM campaign performance. You'll conduct deep-dive analyses, build scalable processes, and craft compelling presentations that inform priorities and guide decision-making. Partnering closely with Data, Analytics, and Marketing teams, you will identify opportunities to boost engagement, reduce churn, and strengthen customer lifetime value. Positioned at the crossroads of data, strategy, and execution, this role plays a key part in driving Engagement & Retention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Extract, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources using SQL and Excel (or similar tools).
* Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of subscriber engagement, retention, and churn patterns.
* Measure and optimise CRM campaigns and A/B tests, leveraging platforms such as Braze, Amplitude and GCP.
* Create executive-ready presentations and reports that clearly communicate insights and recommendations.
* Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and KPI reports to monitor performance and business health.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable analyses and insights.
* Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring Retention & Engagement priorities are understood across the business.
What you'll bring
* Proficiency in SQL and Excel is a must, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and modelling.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to uncover insights and craft compelling data stories.
* Skilled in building clear, impactful presentations for leadership and non-technical audiences.
* Hands-on experience with engagement and data platforms such as Braze, Amplitude, mParticle, Tableau, and GCP.
* Understanding of CRM analytics, lifecycle marketing, and subscription KPIs is a plus.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
* Collaborative, curious, and solutions-oriented mindset.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in every deliverable.
* Energised by working in global teams and learning from diverse markets and cultures.
* Must be fluent in English with excellent oral and writing skills. Additional European language capabilities are a plus.
