The In-house legal team is a high regarded and integral group function and is populated with legal personnel with stellar pedigrees and profiles and there now exists an opportunity for a contract manager to join their northern team. The role The purpose of this role is to provide legal, commercial and administrative support to the legal team and the groups media trading business in relation to routine contract and procurement requirements, procedures, training and advice Key Responsibilities with include the Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements across a variety of areas but generally focused on media and trading. You’ll advise in connection with contract interpretation and initial dispute resolution, support in relation to development and deployment of new commercial initiatives as well as providing support to business teams in contractual negotiations with media partners and sometimes clients. The person The ideal candidate will have strong experience in reviewing, drafting a negotiating commercial contracts, and will be demonstrably commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-focused with an ability to communicate clearly What’s on offer This is a permanent role and the team is based out of our Manchester and Leeds offices, with 4 days a week working from home, and 1 day a week alternating between each office.
