At Dan y Bryn Residential Care Home, our dedicated and compassionate team is looking for Care Workers to help us continue providing exceptional support to our cherished residents. This is a 36 hour, full‑time position based on a rolling 2‑week rota, to include:
* Day, evening & night shifts
* Weekend work required
* Reliable transport essential (limited bus services at weekends)

About The Role
Dan y Bryn is set in beautiful landscaped surroundings in the small village of Ynysmeudwy, on the outskirts of Pontardawe. We’re known for our excellent reputation as a quality and valued care provider, where the needs of our residents are always at the heart of what we do.
As a Care Worker, you’ll be at the heart of daily life for our residents, assisting them to live their lives to the fullest and ensuring they feel valued, safe, and supported.
Duties Will Include
* Promoting the health and wellbeing of residents
* Providing personal care and emotional support
* Administering medication
* Supporting residents to engage in stimulating activities
* Using a person‑centred approach to involve residents in their care
* Digital recording
Skills And Experience Needed
A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided. More important are:
* Experience working with people or customers and as part of a team
* Literacy, numeracy and IT skills

* £25,178 FTE
* Enhanced DBS which we will pay for
* Social Care Wales registration is fully reimbursed
