Datalink Electronics Ltd continues to grow, and we are looking for a skilled Cable & PCB Assembler to join our talented production team. You will be responsible for manufacturing complex printed circuit boards (PCBs), mechanical assemblies, box builds and cable harnesses, involving soldering, wiring, inspection and testing to ensure all products meet stringent quality and customer standards.
What You Will Be Doing
* Assemble and solder PCBs, cable harnesses and mechanical builds
* Interpret electrical diagrams and schematics accurately for correct installation of components
* Apply conformal coating and encapsulate assemblies as required
* Operate soldering equipment including flow and selective solder machines
* Wire harnesses and looms, using techniques such as soldering, wire/cable termination, wire preparation and free-hand wiring
* Construction of mechanical assemblies/box builds, including identification of correct tooling and build issues and encapsulation of PCBs/assemblies
* Conduct inspections to IPC standards and Customer specifications
What We Are Looking For
* Ability to understand technical drawings and identify components
* Proven experience in PCB and cable assembly
* Skilled in hand soldering, crimping and wire termination
* Experience in the use of soldering machines and conformal coatings/encapsulation
* Familiarity with IPC standards (610, 620, J-STD)
* Knowledge of ESD precautions
