An opportunity exists in the Council’s Street Scene Services for a Street Scene Workforce Support Officer working 37 hours per week. What will be expected from me? This post provides sickness absence management support to the Street Scene Service. What I might be doing? To support the day to day application on the sickness absence process. To provide support to employees and managers in the provision of professional advice, guidance and training on sickness management. To support the setting of objectives, targets and formulating service plans in line with Council procedures. To provide advice and assistance on the presentation of sickness absence data, assisting in the monitoring of performance against set objectives, service plans and standards in relation to absence. Essential requirements: NVQ Level 3 or 4 in a relevant subject. BTEC Higher or relevant equivalent qualification or willingness to work towards CIPD professional qualification. Full, current driving licence (Category B E) maximum of 6 penalty points What can I expect? This post is 37 hours per week Support and ongoing training.
