Job Description:
Nationwide Platforms is seeking a Business Development Manager for Construction & Infrastructure Projects in the North West. The role involves managing, developing, and growing a portfolio of Major Construction & Infrastructure Projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic, commercial approach to Project Management, aiming to deliver profitable revenue growth with Main Contractors and their supply chains.

Responsibilities include:
* Managing and growing a portfolio of Major Projects for long-term, profitable growth.
* Delivering revenue targets and expanding market share.
* Researching significant projects and creating a pipeline of opportunities.
* Forecasting future revenue streams and operational support.
* Achieving KPIs related to revenue, activity, and machines on hire.
* Developing project mobilization plans with clients.
* Monitoring service delivery and operational KPIs to improve performance.
* Implementing account management strategies to align stakeholders.
* Monitoring customer debt levels and supporting on-time payments.
* Maintaining opportunity pipelines and updating CRM systems.
* Collaborating with regional teams on sales approaches and service support.
* Understanding the impact of commercial agreements and developing value-added partnerships.
* Building strategic partnerships focusing on Safety & Sustainability.
* Gaining sector-specific knowledge to develop relevant products and services.
Candidate requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in strategic account management with a successful growth record.
* Experience in consultative and strategic selling, exceeding sales targets.
* Financial and commercial acumen with proposal development skills.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Results-oriented, responsive, passionate, and persistent.
* Confidence, ambition, and initiative.
* IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
* Ability to build long-term relationships with key decision makers.
